About
Welcome! I am Jessica, founder of Little Lights Children's Yoga, Inc! I have spent 15 years teaching pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade. As an educator and a mom, I deeply feel the call to deliver this practice to the world.
I hold the following certifications: Mindfulness & Yoga for Children, 200 hour Wellness, SEL, and Yoga Teacher, Yoga for Babies & Toddlers, Yoga Alliance registered.
I have been a student of yoga for many years and will forever continue to learn. Yoga, for me, is so much more than the poses. It is a process of gaining clarity. Yoga is having a mindset to make yourself better, not just for you, but for others. Yoga is finding gratitude every single day. It is living intentionally with love and kindness. Yoga is trusting the inner knowing of your purpose and then giving that gift to the world. Little Lights allows me to live that type of yoga.
My genuine interest in SEL, wellness, and yoga mixed with my love for teaching paved the way for me to take action. I decided to open my own small business in which I could combine all my passions--and that is how Little Lights was born! Your child will engage in mindful movement as well as social emotional learning. Class can consist of breath awareness, a warm up, exposure to yoga poses (both individual and partner/group poses), games, a small craft, read alouds, and some quiet time to reset. Children work independently and collaboratively to cultivate a sense of community and belonging. I thank ChildLight Education Company & Breathe for Change for training me in yoga & mindfulness and providing me with activities and resources to share.
Perhaps the biggest impact on Little Lights Children's Yoga, Inc. is my son, Bobby! He made me a mom in 2022. Bobby teaches me something new every day and I am curious to see how new motherhood positively impacts my teaching.
I invite you to join a class--I can't wait to see your light shine!
With Gratitude,
Jessica Presutti
